The Medical Students’ Society Iasi has the great privilege and joy of inviting you to CONGRESSIS 2009, The 6th International Congress for Medical Students and Young Doctors, which is to be held in the beautiful, historical and lively city of Iasi, Romania between the 9th - 12th of April 2009.
About our previous edition…
Between the 3rd and the 6th of April 2008, at the 5th edition of Congressis, more than 600 representatives of medical universities from Romania and abroad gathered in Iasi, breathing life into one of the most praised congresses for medical students and young doctors in the country.
We are confident that all the participants, be they active or passive, have enjoyed the fulfilling medical and social experience that CONGRESSIS 2008 represented.
We hope that you will do us the honor of being your hosts for this year’s edition of Congressis as well!
By attending Congressis 2009, you will find a real opportunity to exchange opinions on scientific matters, discover new interests both in the medical field and in other cultural areas, make new friendships and research-oriented partnerships, while taking part in:
• Scientific sessions
• Workshops and Symposia held by our distinguished speakers
• an enthusiastically planned Social Program
The entire range of activities that Congressis 2009 offers to its participants is developed around the theme „Challenging Medicine”, an emphasis on the relationship between the health care providers and the recipients of the medical process. The theme will be underlined by a newly introduced section, Bioethics, which, alongside Fundamental Sciences, Surgery and Internal Medicine, will complete the portrait of the future generation of doctors.
The Deadline for Abstract Submission is the 15th of March 2009.
